Detroit: become human is an upcoming game developed by Quantic Dream and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. As we live today AI, AR and VR are becoming more and more common have you ever wondered how our future would look like?
As playing different types of games given us lots of choices what may be a possible future for us so will a yeast infection or Zombie apocalypse will wipe the humans or it will be dinosaur machines? we don't know yet as Mr.Elon Musk say beware from AI ( He's kinda right as something going wrong with AI is a concerning thing for all of us ) anyways we'll see what will happen and the same type of curiosity and another possibility of what may be our future looks like comes to Detroit:become human. The Game will be out on PS4 on 25 May ( I really feel bad for PC people, I really do )
GamePlay
As Detroit become human is an action-adventure game there are many scenarios you will see the story moves forward where you have to make important choices and they really matter which basically affects the whole story.
There are multiple playable characters in the game who can die as the story continues without them due to this there is no Game over screen ( phew finally a game which doesn't tell you that you suck at it ) so character dies story moves on that's a Good thing but maybe not from a story point of view.
The story adjusts and changes as the player makes different choices with different characters.
The player will be able to rewind to certain points in order to change the outcomes in the event of regret and at some points, in the game, the success of certain types of decisions depends upon the amount of information you were able to collect at the given time collecting clues from scenes allows player to see what happened and replay the incident as it happened all of which can be done by analysing environments.
Story
There no available information what exactly the story is going to be but we can calculate some of the plots and how it's going to take place as the game have a completely choice-based story so there are no fixed ending the main story and if they're going to it's going to be the happy one ( which takes place if you get everything right and we both know that never happens almost ) the game has multiple playable characters which mean those characters probably have their own origin stories and the out come of those stories decide what will be the main ending of the game which is basically a fight for the anroid rights ( sounds cool ).
Playable Characters
The game has three playable characters whose life you will control and make decisions.
Kara ( Middle ): A newly created android who got artificial intelligence and wants to explore and feel what's it like to be live among humans and struggles to find her place as android are still used as servants.
Connor( Left ): An advanced police modeled android tasked with hunting down androids who are behaving differently than their programmed behaviors.
Markus ( Right): An android who takes the responsibility to free everyone like him from humans slavery ( Humans are the bad guys huh? cool something new actually that's always the case wasn't it ? ).
Conclusion
The game looks awesome in all aspects graphics are awesome the suspense that is created by the around the story is also great but one of most important thing the game a certain kind of emotional values as you play as Kara she wants to live, understand, feel and smell, isn't that something humans do? yes, of course, she is made like humans as we ourselves sometimes forget the little beautiful things around us in the race of life and success.
These androids and we living with them will again remind us who we are and what we overlook in our daily lives the game is made to give the definition of what it is like to be human which is getting kind of a blur as we running after big things and chasing stuff, the androids stop, feel and try to understand in other words "The in-game androids are more humans than us " that is something we should give a thought.
Comment your thoughts and reviews share it with your friends and understand how to be more human.
