The Horizon Zero Dawn another Awesome adventure

A year ago a game arrived on one of our very beloved platform i.e Playstation 4 as a game which took people by the storm as the game is so awesome no doubt about it and the experience it offers even better it's like when Skyrim arrived and still is a part of the gamers life. The Horizon did the same thing all over again in PS4 ( with awesome graphics and robot dinos no offense to Skyrim ) as it's a PS4 exclusive so PC users I feel sorry for you I really do but the game is pretty awesome and there's no sugarcoating it because it's the truth.

Let's take a step on this great day and look how far we have come.

Journey So Far

So as we know a year ago guerrilla studios launched the game they were developing for years as it was scheduled for release in February 2016 but got delayed to February 2017 so that the developers can polish the game a little more as the game got great reviews from critics looks like their polish worked and it worked well as the game sold 7.6 million copies already.

let's have a look at how we felt when we get the first look at Horizon.

Still Awesome isn't it ??.One of the best game trailers I have ever watched I say the long wait was definitely worth it.

The Setting

As the Horizon Zero Dawn is set in a post-post-apocalyptic version of the earth which is overrun by robot dinos which is pretty cool and it contains a variety of areas like a jungle, forest, and deserts which makes the game's world map pretty huge and every scene is a breathtaking location as the world of Horizon is one of very best game world maps I ever saw ( Again no offense Skyrim and GTA V love you both too ) as you walk into the wilds you encounter new kind of dinos everywhere and you forgot what are you doing and start playing with them with curiousity as story covers the whole map of the game so enjoy your machnical Jurassic park tour.

At the start, you don't have the whole map for yourself as you have to climb that long walking disc head dino's to unlock the various parts of the map there is 25 of them and the world map is quite big with dino's makes the fun more fun for everyone fast travel is available through campsites once discovered (Tomb Raider logics cool).

The Open world of Horizon offers a lot more than just Jurassic park and beautiful landscapes it has caves where you can find great abilities to increase the basic stats and improving the override function and spare parts.
The open world of Horizon is so awesome and big you can't get enough of it you just can't no matter how much time you spend playing it you come back and wander again in that beautiful world of Horizon the game in itself is a wonderful experience.

The Combat 

The combat system of the game was just over the top because they really worked very hard on it as if you get the dino fighting wrong whole game shatters because it's one of the key features of the game hunting dinos with bow and spear.

The game lets the player make the choice how he wants to approach the creatures players can go with stealth or they can attack directly by ambush or you can do what you usually do in all games being stealthy until you cover blows and then become completely alerted about it and try to kill the machine.

different dinosaurs mean different approaches and more different awesome ways to kill them you can use bow, spear, traps and the override function to kill them. after acquiring the override function you can make other dinosaurs do things at your will like traveling and killing other dinosaurs and turning the game into a future Animal planet fight show which looks pretty awesome by the way once you get the taste of it you love it.

The more caves you explore the more different kinds of dinosaurs you can tame the game also have a Skill tree as Aloy gets experience with each kill which lets you choose one of 3 skill lines which one you wish to be a stealth person, a combat person or a healer and gatherer as you gather parts from dinosaurs and make stronger and stronger armors and weapons . 

As you roam in the open world of Horizon you encounter different water and air type dinosaurs and surprisingly they behave like real animals and you also find other tribes and save people with are parts of side quests and some corrupted dinosaurs too and you really can't get enough of the combat too.

Aloy and her story

The was hit because of many reasons but the true reason why the game is popular because of the female protagonist Aloy as she was an outcast from start of her life she learns to understand along the journey who she is and why is happening and you go with her on this beautiful journey of hers solve a lots of mysteries along the way and you become kind of attached to her as she is very strong and brave and also soft and caring also.

with the story you travel with her and see her overcome great challenges and take down strong enemies and guys and help everyone and save the world of Horizon by defeating that AI which is controlling all the corrupt animals and also you take part in her personal struggles as her father died while protecting her or winning a competition for being treated as a part of the tribe .

She is an inspiration to many people like Senua to be brave and stand up for yourself and a good one though as she inspired lots of people all over the world by being herself. Surprisingly today is the International Women's day too and Aloy is one of the perfect examples to show us that.

The Frozen Wilds

Later in December 2017, the extension to the game is realized with extends the storyline and bring a new story to explore and new quests to complete the only difference this time is the Frozen wild which have frozen enemies and another enemy as you already defeated an evil AI.

For most people, the frozen wilds are just another reason for everyone to sit in front of their screens and play it for more 100 hours again ( What we can say the game is pretty good ) because if you successfully represented robot dinosaur fights nicely they will be addictive and fun to play so what we can do.

Like Winters ? See Skyrim it's completely set in a cold world
