Darksiders is the action-adventure series developed by Vigil Games and Published under the banner of THQ Games. It's been 18 years since the franchise was launched On PS4 and Xbox360 the PC version of the game is later released In September Since then we got two games in the series Darksiders 1 & 2 (with definitive editions released later). The Games got great recognition and performed very well on all platforms scoring the 82.98% ratings approx on all platforms. Now this year the 3rd edition of the franchise is also launching and everyone is very excited about it. If You are planning to buy Darksiders 3 here are the things you need to know and what expectations you should keep from Darksiders 3.
1.The Story So Far
Darksiders 1: Wrath Of War.
The Story of the game is basically is God of war plot in Christian culture. In Darksiders wraith of war, we come to know that there is a charred council who hired 4 horsemen in exchange for unimaginable power whose job is to maintain the balance between Humans, Angels, and demons. The Endwar will be announced if the humans broke the seven seals and the 4 horsemen will be summoned.
So War (one of 4 horsemen) reaches earth to find out war it announced and as he is alone also found that he is broken and he got summoned to charred council they accused him to act without permission because all seals are intact and sent a watcher with him and provide him a chance to prove he is not guilty.
When he got to earth he found out 100 years got passed on earth behind his back and found the remaining humans formed a meager run by Uriel. he seeks Samael and Samael told him to defeat 3 different enemies to got him his hearts to get him open the portal to the black tower War comes to know from The maker (master smith) that towers never meant to protect the black tower they made to watch Samael. Then War defeated all three and bring their hearts to Samael and come to know the 3 enemies are Samael watchers and he got free now.
Then, Samael sent him to the black tower and told him to see him again soon. There War meets the Azrael the angel of death and where he told war that he and Abaddon (genral of heavens army) planned the conspiracy fearing that delay would result in heavens defeat and death of Abaddon thrown away the plan and it comes up the Abaddon was sent hell and offered a deal to become destroyer War considers his work done but watcher decides they need to kill the destoryer then War goes to Tree of knowledge and found out We found out that Only 6 seals were broken by The Maker and Azrael to make sure the hell will be released but horsemen won't be summoned .
The council knows about it but they sent War to trick him so he will track down the conspirators and learns how to stop the destroyer because he plans to invade heaven the War kills him and got the seventh seal but watcher stops him but Uriel kills war and breaks the seal and revives War and summons the horsemen.

Darksiders 2: Death Lives.
So When one of the other horsemen heard about it that War is be accused of the crime he didn't commit his brother Death set out on a quest on his own that he will Fix it and he Come to know that Only Way to fix it is he have to sow the seeds of humanity again which only possible from the tree of life when he comes to know that there is a corruption that lingers that lands which he should clear if he has to get to the tree of life.
He told builders that they got a machine which can put the corruption away then he revokes the machine and it turns out the corruption becomes a part of that machine too. Death defeats the machine and makes his path to the dead lands where he met the king of bones who offers him to bring him the souls of his three generals.
Death brings them but king kills them and gives death what he wanted one of the two keys of angels and demons to open the door to the tree of life. Once he got the Both keys he unlocks the way to the well of souls after defeating his old corrupted enemy.
Then he sacrifices himself to save his brother and sow the seeds of humanity. at the same time on Earth War breaks the 7th seal and resurrecting him and calling 4 horsemen to fight the war. In Darksiders 3 we will see what was fury War and Death's sister was doing the whole time War was imprisoned and Death was on his quest.

1.Combat.
The Combat in Both games is pretty much same You initially got weapon find kill monsters with it and earn gold and buy weapons and moves practice them.The moves Are moves and actions are awesome sometimes you also get to kill bosses with that big button floating over their head (Told you God Of War ) But It's really enjoying because they drop lots of gold and Awesome weapons. which I don't expect will change much for Darksiders 3. But I m sure there will be some slight changes in weapon system and upgrade system.
3.Gameplay.
The gameplay does not change much when we go from Darksiders 1 to Darksiders 2. both games make you jump around the ledges and hang from places and solve tedious puzzles and figure out a way how to get out of them. Some are easy some are hard doesn't matter because you have to solve them anyway due to the story quests and as played both of them they are great at this Darksiders 3 also going to have same ledges, dungeons, and swinging places.
4.Enemies And Weapons.
Enemies Are some of the things they aren't common in this series. The Enemies in Darksiders 1 and Darksiders 2 are very different as you don't see any Darksiders 1 enemy in Darksiders 2 because they aren't. The Enemies gets harder as the story progress and they also get bigger in case of some enemies.
Well, I Have lots of fun taking them down because it's awesome and they appear in every place you go. The Weapons in the game are almost infinite to count it was countable in Darksiders 1 but then they picked different weapons from different enemies. which gives Darksiders 2 infinite choice of secondary weapons and as for Darksiders 3 They may be Do some changes in the weapon system they gonna make it better anyways hopefully.
5.Collectables.
The Both Games are full of side collectibles up to the throat in Darksiders 1 You have to find health shards (increases health bar) and wraith shards (increases wrath bar) and also the armor pieces scattered throughout the world map. In Darksiders 2 you have to collect 100 blue gems and different types of gems to complete side quest and get rewards you always wanted they got lots of side quests which they significantly increased in Darksiders 2 as compared to Darksiders 1. So we may see lots of side quests and Hidden Chests and pieces in the places they hiding so we can't find them out.
What To Expect From Darksiders 3.??
Well coming to conclusion what you can Expect from the Darksiders 3 is A Great story, Awesome Combat system, Tons of sidequests, big boss battles, Hidden surprises and A Very Long Game which you feel bored about (Because last two games also are very long but I didn't get bored for a second).
